The World Championships of Wrestling are hosting the Tour of Legends "Medal Challenge" on Saturday, June 23rd.  The Medal Challenge will take place at the World Team Trials in Cincinnati, OH at Xavier University on Saturday, June 23rd from 3-4pm.   This photo opportunity and press conference will be at the Cintas Center in the Founders Club (VIP Room).    The "Challenge" will attempt to set a record for the most number of Olympic and World Medals in one room.  Medallists are asked to bring their Olympic or World Medals to Cincinnati for the event.  The Tour of Legends in attempting to set a record in Cincinnati for the most number of medals in one room and break that record in New York City in September at the World Championships.    The Tour of Legends is conducting a six-month national promotional tour celebrating the sport of wrestling in anticipation of the 2001 World Championships for Wrestling, coming this September 26-29 in New York City.  The four-day event, which will boast over 600 competitors representing nearly 50 countries, will feature both male and female freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. Countries with strong teams expected to participate, in addition to the all-star team from the United States, include Russia, Iran, Turkey, Ukraine and China.
