The third USA Wrestling Middle & Elementary School Folkstyle National Championships has changed to a new time of the season, which should allow even more of the nation’s top young wrestlers to participate.

The event will be held at the Jostens Center at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., November 19-20, the same venue where it was hosted last time.

This year, the competition has moved into the fall season. The last time, this tournament was held was in February.

The event will be held in conjunction with the popular O’Town Showdown, which features high-level competition on the college, high school and youth levels. There are two age divisions for the USA Wrestling Middle & Elementary School Folkstyle Nationals competition. Middle school athletes must be in 6th through 8th grade and born between the years 1996-1999. There is no age requirement for the elementary division; they must be enrolled in 3rd through 5th grade.

This is also a scoring event in the 2010-11 Ultimate Challenge Series, the popular youth folkstyle wrestling event series which determines the Ultimate Dominator in three age groups.
