MOSCOW, Russia – The group of three U.S. Greco-Roman wrestlers have weighed in and received their draws at the World Wrestling Championships on Tuesday at the Olympiysky Sports Complex.

2002 World champion Dremiel Byers (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army) will open his competition at 120 kg/264.5 lbs. against I. Popov of Australia.

Competing in his second straight World Championships, Jeremiah Davis (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army) starts with Dilshod Aripov of Uzbekistan at 60 kg/132 lbs. The two met earlier this year at the Kit Carson Cup in Colorado Springs with Aripov winning in two periods.

At 84 kg/185 lbs., Jake Clark (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Air Force) will wrestle Audrean Mocanu of Moldova in the first match. It is Clark’s second World Championships, to go along with an appearance in 2006.

“They are prepared,” said U.S. World Team Coach Rob Hermann. “They had a great camp in Prague. Everybody made weight pretty easily. We got good draws. Dremiel is on the opposite side from the Russian and the Cuban. Jeremiah has a good first match with India. Jake has drawn Moldova. These guys are ready. It has been a long wait. We have been over here for 10 days. They are ready to go.”
