USA Wrestling has released the results from the Athletic Advisory Committee (AAC) elections.

They are as follows:

Women’s Freestyle
Sara Fulp-Allen, Colorado Springs, Colo.
Iris Smith, Colorado Springs, Colo.
Marcie Van Dusen, Atherton, Calif.

Greco-Roman
Donavan Depatto, Jackson, N.C.
Jake Fisher, Boise, Idaho
Marco Lara, Colorado Springs, Colo.

Men’s Freestyle
J.D. Bergman, Columbus, Ohio
Tervel Dlagnev, Columbus, Ohio
Kerry McCoy, Bethlehem, Pa.

The committee is comprised of three representatives per style. Kerry McCoy is the USOC representative for USA Wrestling with a four year commitment, which allowed only two available spots for the men’s freestyle elections.

Athletes who have been active within the past 10 years were eligible to nominate either themselves or another wrestler.

Individual athletes who were ranked in the top six over the last four years were eligible to vote in these elections.

The newly elected members will serve a two year term with AAC with the commitment to a conference call once a month.

A chairperson has not yet been elected; committee members will vote and determine one in a meeting later this week.

USA Wrestling’s bylaws and mission for the Athlete Advisory Committee are as follows:
