World Cup champion Kerry Boumans to give clinic at South Carolina Greco & Freestyle State Champions

SC-USA Wrestling proudly announces that 2001 World Cup Champion and Team USA #2 Ranked Freestyle member Kerry Boumans [58kg/127.75lbs.] will be our guest clinician at this weekend's 2001 South Carolina Greco & Freestyle Wrestling State Championships to be held at Spring Valley High School in Columbia,S.C. Mr. Boumans' visit has been coordinated through the USA Wrestling's Athlete Appearance Program.    Boumans was a 2000 U.S. Nationals champion, and placed second in the 2000 Olympic Team Trials. He was a 2001 U.S. Nationals runner-up, and recently won the gold medal at the World Cup held in Baltimore, Md. Boumans is a U.S. Olympic Training Center resident athlete, and is a native of Louisiana.    Note for all SC Coaches: Kerry Boumans' clinic will count toward completion of your Bronze Certification, as a part of the National Coaches Education Program(NCEP).    For those interested wrestling enthusiasts, please help welcome 2001 World Cup Champion Kerry Boumans to South Carolina.
