New Northern Iowa head wrestling coach Doug Schwab to go “On the Mat” this Wednesday, May 26, 2010.

“On the Mat" is a presentation of the Dan Gable International Wrestling Institute and Museum. The show can be heard live on the Internet at www.kcnzam.com or locally in Northeast Iowa each Wednesday from 5:00 - 6:00 PM CST on AM 1650, The Fan.

Schwab was recently named the head wrestling coach at the University of Northern Iowa. He was an assistant coach for the University of Iowa prior to his arrival. Schwab was a three-time All-American and 1999 NCAA champion for the Hawkeyes, as well as a 2008 Olympian. He placed fifth in the 2007 World Championships.
