USA Wrestling reminds wrestling fans that the 2010 ASICS U.S. Open Wrestling Championships will be broadcast one more time on the Big Ten Network.

The Big Ten Network has created a two-hour show from the championship finals, with featured match coverage in all three Olympic styles: men’s freestyle, women’s freestyle and Greco-Roman.

Another airing has been scheduled on Thursday, April 29 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time. 

For those who did not see the first two airings of the show, there is one more opportunities to see our nation's best wrestlers in action.

The competition was held this weekend at the Wolstein Center on the campus of Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. This is the annual national championship for the nation’s best international-style wrestlers.

The first airing was shown on Sunday, April 25 at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time, only a day after the actual championship finals take place at the Wolstein Center.

The show was be reaired on Tuesday, April 27, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time.

Serving as the play-by-play announcer was veteran broadcaster Van Stokes. The color commentator was 1988 Olympian Ken Chertow, and the sideline reporter was Joe Heskett, past World Team member and an assistant at Ohio State. 

The nation’s best international wrestlers will compete at the 2010 ASICS U.S. Open Wrestling Championships in all three styles, battling for national titles and All-American honors. The dates of the competition are April 23-24.

In all three divisions, the top seven placewiners at the U.S. National Champion-ships will qualify for the 2010 World Team Trials in Council Bluffs, Iowa, June 11-12.

Expect to see the nation’s top wrestlers in action on these broadcasts.

Entered in the field are a number of past World medalists and U.S. Nationals champions. 

Among the World medalists who were in the field are men’s freestyle wrestlers Jake Herbert of the New York AC, Tervel Dlagnev of the Sunkist Kids and Mike Zadick of the Gator WC, Greco-Roman wrestlers Justin Ruiz of the New York AC and Lindsey Durlacher of the New York AC and women’s freestyle wrestler Tatiana Padilla of the Sunkist Kids.

This is the second year of the Olympic four-year cycle, and the athletes are already focused on their quest to compete at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England. 	.
