CAGWA set to host California Super Tournament 2 this weekend

 The renowned 2nd Annual CAGWA California Super Tournament 2 will be held on February 19-21st 2010, at the Azusa Pacific University! Talented Youth Wrestlers from the many great Western States of California, Utah, Nevada, Oregon, Arizona, Washington, New Mexico and Colorado will be traveling to the Holy Land of Wrestling, the tournament of all tournaments, the Mecca known by its name, "CAGWA Super Tournament TWO..."
 
Age Group Wrestlers from as far off as Maryland and Massachusetts have pledged their commitment to go to Battle on the Mat, CAGWA Tournaments are rites of Passage where ambitious adolescent Wrestlers from the age of K to 8th grades can respond to the challenge of a tournament which truly turns Boys 2 Men. Youthful wrestlers will have the opportunity to compete for the exclusive Prized Super Tournament Championship Belt which is only offered and branded at a Top notch Tournament like CAGWA. 

The Super Tournament also serves as the exclusive Host of the individual's team trials in determining the true representatives for Team California. Only the top wrestler in their own respective weight class will be selected to represent the State of California team in advancing to the National Middle School Championship Duals taking place at the David Palmer Arena in Danville, Illinois on March 26-27th 2010.

Some of the previous participants in the past have gone to great national and international accomplishment, This year we will have an opportunity to see the promise of tomorrows future generation, The Aaron Cheeks Pico, the Cade Olivas, The Valenzuela Brothers and many more youth repping their teams like the Kistlers Dungeon, Team ThunderKIDZ , Monster Garage, POWAY ELITE, Selma and Bakersfield Drillers etc.

Today in an economy where many wrestling programs have faltered, falling to the wayside, discontinued and or dropped. Youth Wrestling is booming because of responsible clubs like CAGWA. CAGWA Who is CAGWA? CAGWA is the largest K-8th grade Wrestling Association in the state of California. CAGWA stands for California Age Group Wrestling Association an organization which has been funded by wrestlers for wrestlers. CAGWA is a grassroots wrestling organization whose mission and intent to is to give back to the community by introducing the sport of wrestling and wrestlers as true ambassadors of good will.

 CAGWA likes to see itself as the future of wrestling in developing wrestlers who will become the next California state champions by providing elite level tournament competitions. Like metal to metal sharpening the blade, CAGWA is the alchemist which prides it self in hosting 13 Tournaments in counties across the southern California area including Los Angeles, Inland Empire, Ventura County, San Bernardino County, and Orange County. CAGWA is a register 501c3 which donates many of its profits and proceeds to Wrestling Programs in need like CSUF.

When Eddie Ruiz was asked as to why do the Parents and their youthful wrestlers find CAGWA and the California Super Tournament so favorable and so popular? He retrospectively answered with a smile, "Its simple the California Super Tournament focuses on fundamentals in appealing to the Parents and their wrestlers with its distinguished awards of Fantastic medals and amazing trophies, its Superior competition, its outstanding referees, excellent venue, and always a surprise centralized location."
