I wrestled just like any other match, I didn't really protect my knee, and he only went for it one time, so that was fine." 69 kg - Chris Bono, Gilbert, Iowa - "It was good for me to come in here and win the first match, since I'm coming off a disappointing loss at the U.S. Nationals last month. It's very important for me to come out and get a win right away and feel good. I scored points on what I worked on in camp, which felt good." National Freestyle Resident Coach Mike Duroe - "The team got off to a great start. The guys had a strong warm-up and they planned on coming in here to dominate, and they did. I'm proud of the way they prepared both physically and mentally for the match. Tonight will be a good test against Iran."
