WATERLOO, Iowa � It�s a big weekend for the sport of wrestling with the National Duals in town.

It�s also a big weekend for the Dan Gable International Wrestling Institute and Museum.

The museum was plenty busy on Friday as numerous teams and fans toured the Gable Museum in Waterloo.

The museum is under new direction with Kyle Klingman succeeding the retired Mike Chapman as executive director. Chapman founded the museum and was the long-time executive director. Klingman had previously assisted Chapman before spending this past year working for Wrestling 411.

Kent Sesker remains as the marketing director for the museum.

This weekend marks the one-year anniversary of the museum�s grand re-opening after it suffered significant damage during the flooding in the summer of 2008.

Klingman and the legendary Dan Gable, who grew up in Waterloo, talked Friday about what is going on with the museum and the big weekend at their facility.

Gable won state, NCAA, World and Olympic titles as a wrestler before coaching Iowa to 15 NCAA titles. His final title came in 1997 at the UNI-Dome in his backyard in neighboring Cedar Falls, Iowa.

The museum will be open on Saturday and Sunday. It is located at 303 Jefferson St. in Waterloo. It is about a 15-minute drive from the UNI-Dome, site of the National Duals.
