USA Wrestling appreciates the tremendous support for the sport of wrestling that coaches demonstrate nationwide. As a reward and special thanks to the coaches who lead their athletes to Cincinnati this summer for the World Team Trials, USA Wrestling has approved a Coach's Benefit Package. Coaches who commit to bringing five or more wrestlers to attend the 2001 Developmental Camp associated with the Senior World Team Trials will receive a cut-rate price. The Developmental Camp begins on Monday, June 18th and run through the Sunday, June 24th. The camp will be headquartered on the campus of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. The 2001 World Team Trials is the qualifying tournament for the World Championships that will be held in Madison Square Garden in New York City in September. The World Team Trials will be contested in three styles: freestyle, Greco-Roman, and women's freestyle. The champions from U.S. Nationals held in April in Las Vegas, will face the winner of Challenge Tournament for a spot on the U.S. team. The battles will be fierce as every elite American wrestler will want to represent their country on American Soil.
