The National Wrestling Hall of Fame is happy to announce the following five men will receive the "Lifetime Service to Wrestling" and the "Medal of Courage" Awards.
The "Lifetime Service" award given annually to coaches, officials or contributors who have given a lifetime of service to wrestling, their communities and most importantly to the young people they have coached, taught, motivated and inspired.
The Medal of Courage is presented annually to a wrestler or former wrestler who has overcome what appear to be insurmountable challenges, which may be physical, mental or other handicaps that make their achievements even more uplifting.

For their dedication and lasting influence on wrestling, these men will be honored at the "Hall of Fame Day Celebration Banquet" on May 4, 2008. The banquet and honors ceremony will be held at the Marriott, 1200 Hampton St., Columbia, SC 29201.
