Watch USA men’s freestyle wrestling vs. Belarus on Valentine’s Day

The main doors to American University's Bender Arena will open Thursday, February 14, at 6 p.m. for the international freestyle wrestling showcase between Team USA and Belarus.  

Those who can not make it to the arena can watch it on www.LiveSportsVideo.com.  Live Sports Video will provide a free live web cast tonight (sponsored by Feldmeier Equipment), for you to watch at any computer - let every one know!  

This showcase, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. EST, will feature several of the world's top freestyle wrestlers.  

The line-up for the World Dual Meet set for this Thursday, February 14 is:
-	55 kg/121 lbs. Matt Azevedo (USA) vs. Risvan Gadzhiev (Belarus)
-	60 kg/132 lbs. Mike Zadick (USA) vs. Kamil Mahamedau or Aliaksandr Karnitski (Belarus)
-	66 kg/145.5 lbs. Jesse Jantzen (USA) vs. Albert Batyrov (Belarus)
-	74 kg/163 lbs. Muzaffar Abdurakhmanov (USA) vs. Aliaksandr Matyl (Belarus)
-	84 kg/185 lbs. Chris Pendleton (USA) vs. Ivan Yankouski (Belarus)
-	120 kg/264.5 lbs. Tolly Thompson (USA) vs. Maksim Mikhalevich (Belarus)

The U.S. line-up features Zadick who is ranked first in his weight class.  Zadick was a 2006 silver medalist at the World Championships and a three time NCAA All-American.

Three past NCAA Champions will compete for the U.S. squad in the event: Jesse Jantzen (Harvard), Chris Pendleton (Oklahoma State), and Tolly Thompson (Nebraska).  Thompson was also a 2005 World bronze medalist and Jantzen won a gold medal at the 2005 World University Games.

The U.S. team will also feature American University graduate and current assistant coach Abdurakhmanov, an NCAA All-American.  Abdurakhmanov was a native of Uzbekistan before coming to the U.S. to attend college.

The Belarus squad includes 2007 Senior World Championship bronze medalist Risvan Gadshiev and 2006 Senior World Championship bronze medalist Rouslan Sheikov.
