This week's edition of "On the Mat" will feature Andrew Hipps and Dan Severn.

"On the Mat" is a weekly wrestling radio program that airs every Wednesday night. This week's broadcast can be heard live from 5-6 p.m. Central Standard Time. The Dan Gable International Wrestling Institute and Museum in Waterloo, Iowa, hosts the show. 

Hipps is a senior writer for revwrestling.com, a wrestling website that covers every aspect of the sport. The website offers coverage of college, high school, and international wrestling, as well as highlights and previews of select mixed martial arts competitions. Hipps is a regular columnist for the site and conducts regular interview with some of wrestling's top athletes and coaches.

Severn wrestled at Arizona State University and was a two-time All-American in 1979 and 1981. Severn gained his biggest fame through mixed martial arts, winning several major titles. A member of the Ultimate Fighting Championships Hall of Fame, Severn will be at the Dan Gable International Wrestling Institute and Museum on April 3 for Frank Gotch Day.
