The U.S. Marine Corps won all three of its dual meets to win the team title at the 2001 Armed Forces Greco-Roman Championships in Ft. Hood, Texas, March 10.     The U.S. Marine Corps finished second last year to the U.S. Army, but defeated the Army in the dual meet this year, 18-13, to clinch the title. The U.S. Marine Corps also registered wins over Navy, 28-5, and the Air Force, 17-13.     The U.S. Army finished second with a 2-1 record. They defeated Navy, 30-2 and the Air Force, 17-14. The Air Force was 1-2 and finished in third place as a team, and the Navy was fourth with an 0-3 record.     The Marine Corps had three individual champions. They were  Duaine Martin (Quantico, Va.) at 127.75 pounds, James Shillow (Quantico, Va.) at 138.75 pounds and Marcel Cooper (Quantico, Va.) at 152 pounds.     The Air Force also had three individual champions. Jeff Cervone (Colorado Springs, Colo.) at 119 pounds, Aaron Sieracki (Colorado Springs, Colo.) at 187.25 pounds and Corey Farkas (Colorado Springs, Colo.) at 286 pounds.     The Army had two champions: Keith Sieracki (Colorado Springs, Colo.) at 167.5 pounds and Dominic Black (Colorado Springs, Colo.) at 213.75 pounds.     The U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force teams are stationed in Colorado Springs, Colo., while the U.S. Marine corps team is stationed in Quantico, Va. and the U.S. Navy team is stationed in Pensacola, Fla.     The U.S. Army won both the freestyle and Greco-Roman competition at the 2000 Armed Forces Championships.     The freestyle competition will be held on Sunday, March 11.
