MARQUETTE, Mich. - The United States Olympic Education Center and B2 Networks announced this week that the China vs. USOEC competition on Tuesday, Oct. 23, will be streaming live over the Internet. The competition will be held in the Berry Events Center on Northern Michigan University's campus.
The event will include competitions between China and USOEC in boxing, Greco-Roman wrestling, and women's freestyle wrestling. Each sport will be run continuously and simultaneously.
"Streaming the event live will allow friends and families of the athletes who are unable to attend, an opportunity to see the action," said USOEC director Jeff Kleinschmidt. "This is a historic event and we want to include as many people as possible. Live video streaming gives people around the world the ability to watch the evening's competition."
The cost is $6 to view one sport or $10 for an event pass to watch all three sports. The event pass will allow viewers to switch between wrestling and boxing matches. For more information or to purchase a pass go to http://webb.nmu.edu/ChinaVsUSOEC/.
