ESPNU has announced that it will air three straight hours of USA Wrestling action on Thursday night, June 28. 

At 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, it will rebroadcast the U.S. Women's Nationals. This is a one-hour show with highlights from the U.S. Women's Nationals held in Las Vegas in April.

ESPNU will then broadcast the premier showing of the United States Marine Corps U.S. World Team Trials, on Thursday, June 28 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time.

ESPNU will carry a two-hour show from the World Team Trials. The broadcast will feature action from the final day of wrestling, including four men's freestyle bouts, three men's Greco-Roman bouts and three women's freestyle bouts.

The United States Marine Corps U.S. World Team Trials were held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev., June 9-10.

Featured on the show will be the outstanding performance by 2006 World Champion Joe Warren of the New York AC at 60 kg/132 lbs. in men's Greco-Roman wrestling.

Among the matches on the broadcast is the first World Team Trials victory by young men's freestyle star Henry Cejudo of the Sunkist Kids at 55 kg/121 lbs. Another talented star who will be covered on the broadcast and who qualified for her first World Team is Marcie Van Dusen of the Sunkist Kids at 55 kg/121 lbs. in women's freestyle wrestling.

Serving as the play-by-play announcer for the ESPNU shows is veteran broadcaster Van Stokes. Also on the broadcast team for both shows is Greg Strobel, head coach at Lehigh Univ. and a 2000 Olympic freestyle coach, as well as USA Wrestling National Teams Director Mitch Hull. Conducting interviews with the athletes is veteran broadcaster Joe Miller.

The United States Marine Corps U.S. World Team Trials determined the athletes who will represent the United States at the World Wrestling Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, Sept. 17-23.

This will be the third national broadcast of major USA Wrestling events on ESPNU this year.

A 60-minute show of the U.S. Women's National Championships premiered on May 1.

A 90-minute show of the U.S. National Championships for men's freestyle and Greco-Roman premiered on May 2.
