USA Wrestling has announced that ESPNU will broadcast three shows of major USA Wrestling events this year.

There will be two shows broadcast from the Las Vegas/ASICS United States National Wrestling Championships. The competition was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in early april

ESPNU will broadcast a 90-minute show with highlights from the men's freestyle and men's Greco-Roman competition.

The show will be broadcast on a tape-delayed basis. The first airing is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, May 2 at 7:00 p.m. Eastern time.

In addition, there will be another 60-minute show featuring the women's freestyle finals.

The show will also be broadcast on a tape-delayed basis. The first airing is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, May 1 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time.

The nation's best international wrestlers competed at the Las Vegas/ASICS United States National Wrestling Championships in all three styles, battling for national titles and All-American honors. Champions from the U.S. Nationals earned the No. 1 seed at the World Team Trials in their style. 

The United States Marine Corps U.S. World Team Trials will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev., June 9-10.

ESPNU will broadcast a two-hour show from the World Team Trials. It will feature all three international styles.
	
ESPNU plans to air the World Team Trials on a tape-delayed basis. The first airing is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, June 28 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time.

The nation's top wrestlers in men's freestyle and Greco-Roman and women's freestyle will compete at the United States Marine Corps U.S. World Team Trials, with the winners earning spots on the U.S. World Team that will compete in Baku, Azerbaijan, Sept. 17-23.

Serving as the play-by-play announcer for all three ESPNU shows will be veteran broadcaster Van Stokes. Also on the broadcast team will be Greg Strobel, head coach at Lehigh Univ. and a 2000 Olympic freestyle coach, as well as USA Wrestling National Teams Director Mitch Hull. Conducting interviews with the athletes will be veteran broadcaster Joe Miller.
