COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Wrestling is proud to announce a partnership agreement with the United States Marine Corps. The partnership calls for support of several high profile USA Wrestling events, television coverage of the World Team Trials and various publication/event marketing rights for The Marines.

The Marine Corps' mission is to make Marines, win battles, and develop quality citizens. These men and women live by a set of core values, which form the foundation of everything the Corps stands for: honor, courage, and commitment.

USA Wrestling can point to numerous distinguished Marines with wrestling backgrounds. Among them are, General Charles Krulak, a former Commandant of the Marine Corps, and Lieutenant General John Sattler, former Commander of the First Marine Expeditionary Force in Operation Iraqi Freedom. These Marines represent an untold number of wrestlers who transferred the values they learned through wrestling into their careers in the Marine Corps.
