Fourth-ranked Oklahoma State will host fifth-ranked Iowa in a dual meet that will be televised live by ESPNU beginning at 8 p.m. Central Time on Friday. Dave Armstrong and Tim Johnson will announce the dual for ESPNU.
OSU met Iowa in the quarterfinals of the NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals on Saturday, Jan. 13. The Cowboys came away with a 22-13 victory and have now won the last seven meetings in the series. OSU leads the all-time series, 23-16-1. The last Iowa win came during the 1999-2000 season when the Hawkeyes defeated the Cowboys, 20-14, in Iowa City. Iowa last won a dual in Stillwater during the 1995-96 season.
The Cowboys have lost their last two matches en route to a fourth-place finish at the National Duals. The last time OSU lost two straight was during the 1999-2000 season against Iowa State and Iowa. OSU is 9-3 on the season, its first three-loss season since 2001-02 when the Cowboys went 20-3.
