Zadick, Warren, Cejudo recognized for achievements by Colorado Springs Sports Corp

The Colorado Springs Sports Corporation issued the following:

The Sports Corp Salutes The Best of Sports In Colorado Springs in the last year and the rich traditions we have created as a city with its own, unique sports identity in the state of Colorado,

Included in its featured sports stories were the following wrestling news items:

* Coronado High School senior wrestler Henry Cejudo (Sunkist Kids) wins the U.S. National freestyle gold medal at 121 pounds in April, becoming the first prep wrestler to win a national freestyle crown in USA Wrestling history.

* U.S. Olympic Training Center wrestlers Bill Zadick (freestyle 145.5 lbs.) and Joe Warren (Greco-Roman 132 lbs.) win World Championships for the USA.

* At the State 5A Wrestling Championships, Coronado High's Henry Cejudo (103), and Wasson teammates Jesse Cruz (130) and Erik Talmich (140) are crowned state champions. Ethan Martinez of St.Mary High wins the 3A title at 119 pounds.
