As we ramp up for the holidays, our fondest wish is that all wrestlers and coaches remain healthy and are able to compete in this tremendous sport. You may note that fan numbers at events are up. That's a good thing. Thanks for bringing others back to the sport. Please continue. The greatest gift you can give to the sport we all love is additional fans for each event, meet or tournament.
This week, our program is dedicated to all of our tournament founders, workers and volunteers. Few know how much time it takes to put together a big tournament. I do. And for the effort, planning, sweat and determination exhibited by these good folks I say Thank you and Bless you all through out this holiday season!
Guest host # 1 is huge wrestling fan and long time supporter of TDR Vince Morrissey. Vince might have some good Ideas for what wrestlers and coaches can get that special someone in their lives. Guest Host # 2 is Sean Charles the embattled former Head Coach at Fresno State now at Brown joins us LIVE in the studio. This should be interesting for sure.
Joining Vince, Sean and I will be
Bob Preusse (Tournament Director) with a wrap on the Walsh Ironman that took place this past weekend.
Tom Minkel- Head Coach of the Michigan State Spartans. We'll talk of the season and the NCAA's coming to his back yard. Oh, we might talk about those Simmons boys too.
Chris Price- This former wrestler turned UFC up-and-comer rejoins us to discuss his next TV fight and to look back at what happened his last fight in Florida.
Sean Salmon - This former wrestler turned UFC up and comer joins us to discuss his first TV fight. What's it like to be sponsored by Royalty Fight Wear this early in his career.
Tim Cysewski- Head Coach of the Wildcats of Northwestern University. What's gotten in to these cats? Wrestling is indeed a series of predicaments but they seem for the most part have figured this out.
