Tahkti Cup Results through second day in Tehran, Iran, Feb. 21     All of the U.S. wrestlers have started their competition at the 20th Tahkti Cup in Tehran, Iran, Feb. 21 in both freestyle and Greco-Roman. The tournament will run through Friday, Feb. 23.    Two of the Greco-Roman U.S. wrestlers are undefeated after their first day of competition. 2000 Olympian Kevin Bracken (Colorado Springs, Colo./NYAC) won by technical falls in his first two matches at 138.75 pounds, first with a 10-0 score over Nozat of Syria and then by an 11-0 score over Azimov of Tadjikistan in 30 seconds.      2000 Olympic silver medalist Matt Lindland (Oregon City, Ore./Sunkist Kids) also won with two technical falls over his opponents at 167.5 pounds. He defeated Alijani of Iran, 12-1 and Quzimamadov of Azerbaijan, 13-2.     All of the freestyle team members are still in competition after day two. Undefeated are Bill Zadick (Iowa City, Iowa/Hawkeye WC) at 138.75 pounds, Chris Bono (Gilbert, Iowa/Sunkist Kids) at 152 pounds, Joe Williams (Coralville, Iowa/Hawkeye WC) at 167.5 pounds, Lee Fullhart (Iowa City, Iowa/Hawkeye WC) at 187.25 pounds and 1999 World Champion Stephen Neal (Bakersfield, Calif./Dave Schultz WC) at 286 pounds.     Zadick scored a technical fall over Berdyev of Turkmenistan, 10-0, then won two overtime decisions, the first over R. Essenaev of Russia, 8-7, then A.A. Bazri of Iran, 6-5.     Bono first decisioned Mardoni of Iran, 2-2 in overtime, then Mirzaiev of Azerbaijan, 4-0.     Williams decisioned Ceylan of Turkey, 8-1, then M. Alizadeh of Iran, 3-2 in overtime. Williams placed fourth in the 1999 World Championships.     Fullhart won his first match by a technical fall over Rashidamir of Iran, 11-0, then won the second bout by a 5-1 decision over Yari of Iran.     Neal first pinned Maesourni of Iran, then decisioned 1996 Olympic silver medalist Abbas Jadidi of Iran, 5-0.     Those wrestlers who are undefeated still have a chance for a medal.
