DALLAS - Oklahoma State senior Reggie Wright was selected as Big 12 Wrestler of the Week as announced by the conference office Tuesday. Wright, the top-ranked wrestler in the nation at 149 pounds, went 2-0 last week while improving his season record to 26-0. He joins Iowa State's Cael Sanderson and Oklahoma's Michael Lightner as the only three Big 12 wrestlers to remain undefeated this season. The Chicago, Ill., native earned a decision over Arizona State's Dana Holland in the Cowboys' 31-7 win over the Sun Devils on Feb. 16. Wright returned home on Feb. 18 to face Oklahoma's ninth-ranked Jared Frayer. In front of 10,802 fans at Gallagher-Iba Arena, Wright beat Frayer 7-2 to run his career record against the Sooners' 149-pounder to 9-0. No. 2 Oklahoma State finished the regular season with a 17-1 overall record and 6-0 in conference action.
