Gold-medal match: Seyed M. Mohammadi (Iran) dec. Zadick, 1-0, 1-1
First period
No takedown in first two minutes. Zadick wins flip, but can't finish on leg clinch and trails 1-0.
Second period
Zadick scores on double-leg takedown at 1:03. Mohammadi scores on pushout at 1:51 to tie it 1-1. Mohammadi wins period by virtue of scoring last.
Semifinals: Zadick dec. Mavlet Batirov (Russia), 1-0, 1-0
First period

Zadick hits a double-leg shot and drives his opponent out of bounds on a pushout with one second left to win the period 1-0.
55 KG - SAMMIE HENSON (FLINSTONE, GA./SUNKIST KIDS)
Bronze-medal match: Henson dec. Adcham Achilov (Uzbekistan), 2-1, 2-0
First period
Achilov shoots in on a single off the opening whistle and gains a one-point takedown at 0:08. Henson snaps Achilov down for a takedown at 1:22. Henson counters a late shot and spins around for a takedown at 1:59.
Second period
Henson shoots in on a leg attack and gains exposure at 1:49 to win period 2-0.
Semifinals: Radoslav Velikov (Bularia) dec. Henson, 4-0, 7-1
First period
Velikov scores on single-leg takedown at 0:31. He adds tilt for three more at 1:00.
Second period

Henson counters a shot attempt and works his way behind for a takedown at 0:51 for the only scoring of the period.
Third period
Henson counters and goes behind the Cuban for a takedown at 0:11. Henson adds a pushout at 0:39 and a takedown on another counter at 0:57. Henson then tilts the Cuban at 1:11 and holds him there for the remainder of the match to add three points.

120 KG - DREMIEL BYERS (COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO./U.S. ARMY)
Second round: Ismail Guzel (Turkey) dec. Byers, 0-3, 2-1, 1-1
First period
No takedown in the first minute. Byers hits reverse body lock and turn for two points at 1:06. Byers is not turned and adds a third point.
Second period
Guzel is given one point for a caution on Byers. Guzel can't turn Byers, who ties it 1-1. Byers can't gain a turn and Guzel wins period 2-1.

No takedown in the first minute. Guzel wins flip and can't turn Byers, who leads 1-0. Byers nearly gains a turn with 15 seconds left, but can't quite finish and Guzel wins the period 1-1.
First round: Byers dec. Vladimir Guralski (Israel), 4-0, 3-0
First period
No takedown in the first minute. Guralski can't turn Byers, who takes a 1-0 lead. Byers scores on a two-point gut-wrench at 1:42. Byers adds a one-point turn at 1:51 to win 4-0.

No takedown in the first minute. Guralski can't turn Byers, who takes a 1-0 lead. Byers hits a two-point gut-wrench at 1:53 to win the period 3-0.
