Wrestlers are readying themselves to be a part of Season Two of Real Pro Wrestling, set to begin with a Regional Qualifier on Oct. 28 in San Jose, Calif.

Wrestlers from across the country can prove their skill level and join a Real Pro Wrestling team by advancing through a qualifier, and then a Super-Qualifier Jan. 7 that is also scheduled for San Jose.

Each regional qualifier will only allow eight individuals per weight class. The weight classes are the seven international weights (55 kgs, 60 kgs, 66 kgs, 74 kgs, 84 kgs, 96 kgs, 120 kgs) plus three kilos. Registering for an event does not guarantee entry into the tournament. All wrestlers will be notified if their application to compete is accepted. Athletes should register early or call Dean Morrison at 615-234-1358.

Any wrestler interested in being a part of the exciting second season is encouraged to fill out an application online in the events section of the Real Pro Wrestling website:

"After a day and a half of sign-ups we have already received commitments from guys like Mike Zadick, Travis Lee, Nate Gallick, Matt Gentry and Greg Jones. Each of these competitors will be competing at any one of the four regional events. We are expecting each weight to fill quickly. Applications can easily be filled out on-line. We are encouraging all applicants to be entered as soon as possible," stated Dean Morrison, RPW Consultant.

Other regional qualifiers include an event Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Oklahoma. Amateur wrestlers will no longer toil in anonymity with the growth of a real professional wrestling league.

Matt Case, President of RPW, notes, "Real Pro Wrestling is on the radar screen of some major networks. A successful second season is in our grasp if the national wrestling community comes together.

"RPW is working to unite America's diverse wrestling organizations with a common vision of gaining real wrestling coverage for the sport of wrestling."

Wrestling fans are encouraged to stay tuned to the RPW website as more information is released regarding the upcoming year. In the works are television events in numerous cities across the nation as well as an attractive Pay Per View arrangement to watch all events live in the spring of 2007.
