In the second match, after I go a takedown, I got too defensive and he was able to score. He got some motivation. I had to open up the offense in the last match."

"It had dinner with him last night. We train together in Chicago, at the Overtime club with Sean Bormet. Before and after the U.S. Nationals we trained. We wrestled each other, all the time. "This is a tough tournament. You don't sit out as national champion. They want to make sure everybody is wrestling. I believe I am the hardest working guy on the team. I'm older I have to put more energy into it to win a tournament like this. This is upset city here this year. I am doing the extra things to represent our country in China. They wan't to make sure they have the right person on the team."

"This year I beat him two straight sets convincingly. I am doing the extra things to win. My coaches are instilling that in us. I need to bring a medal back home. The ultimate goal is a gold medal. You have to set attainable goals in this sport or you will fall short. I can say I want to win a medal. A gold would be a bonus."

60 kg - Joe Warren, Colorado Springs, Colo. (New York AC)

"I am as calm as I've been out there. That is just my wrestling style. Stay on you as hard as you can, and stay with it. Personally, I am proud of myself and the coaching staff. They had be tuned it. I am ready now to win a gold medal for our country."

"There are four of us, my brother and me, and the two Sieracki brothers. I respect them more than anymore than anybody else. His older brother Keith took me under his wing. They are family. I am glad one of us was able to do it here."

"The salute - It's Memorial Day weekend. At Nationals, I got one up too. It is my way of representing, to thank everybody. To represent myself, the military, all the people serving overseas. It is my way to show I respect them.
