2nd period

Cejudo comes back to turn Azevedo and grab a 2-1 lead early in the second period. Cejudo holds off Azevedo's shot attempts to even the match by winning the period 2-1.

3rd period

Cejudo is down 1-0, but comes right back with a spectacular four-point throw with just over a minute left in the match. Azevedo closes within two with a takedown with 35 seconds left. Cejudo wins the period 4-2 to earn the victory.

1st period

Tomeo gains a takedown and two-point exposure to lead 3-0. She quickly goes up 4-0 with another takedown. Tomeo fires in on the legs again for yet another takedown and ends up winning the first period 6-0.

2nd period

Roberts jumps out quickly to take a 3-1 lead with a pressuring style. Tomeo drives in and spins around for a takedown late in the period, but Roberts evens the match by winning the period 3-2.

3rd period

Roberts shoots in on the legs on a double for a takedown and cranks her over with a power half-nelson to build a quick 4-0 lead in the final two minutes. Tomeo fires in on a leg attack to make it 4-1 with a takedown late in the period, but can't turn Roberts in the closing seconds.

1st period

Clark surprises Vering in a low-scoring battle and wins the first period to take charge early in the bout.

2nd period

Vering suffers a nasty gash on his forehead as the match remains scoreless with just under a minute remaining. Clark had another chance to turn Vering, but the veteran from Nebraska is tough defensively and won't give anything up. Clark is down 1-0, but counters a turn attempt in the closing seconds for a dramatic two-point move. That gives him the upset win.

Roberson strikes first with a shot on the legs to take a 1-0 lead. Roberson shoots in again for a takedown and catches Lightner to gain a two-point exposure. Roberson wins the period 4-0.

2nd period

Lightner is in on a single-leg shot and gains two points for exposure as he takes Roberson down near the edge with 40 seconds left. Lightner leads 3-0. Roberson spins behind on a counter for a takedown to cut it to 3-1 with 20 seconds left. Lightner wins the period 3-1.

3rd period

Roberson fires in on a sweet single-leg shot and spins behind Lightner to take a 1-0 lead with just over a minute left. Roberson holds off a late charge by Lightner to win the period 1-0 and win the match.

Cormier powers in on a blast double for a takedown with 1:22 to go. Cormier uses a throw-by to slip behind for a takedown with 49 seconds left in the period. He finishes the period with another textbook double and wins the period 5-0.
