Freestyle Clinch:
The winner of the toss will select which leg he wishes to clinch. The opponent will present that leg. The clinch must be head outside only. The offensive wrestler may be on both feet or one or both knees.
His lock must be behind the knee and he cannot turn the corner. The lock can be any grip from knuckle to knuckle to elbow to elbow, but it must be at the defensive wrestler's knee.
To start the clinch, the defensive wrestler will place his hands on the offensive wrestlers back, from the top of the shoulder to the scapula area. The offensive wrestler than takes his lock and the ref will start the action.
