Tour packages offered for World Championships in Guangzhou, China

Wrestling fans once again will be presented with an excellent opportunity to witness the best athletes in the world compete with their choice of two travel packages that are being offered for the World Wrestling Championships Sept. 23-Oct. 2 in Guangzhou, China.

The world's top wrestlers in Greco-Roman wrestling along with men's and women's freestyle are scheduled to compete.

The seven-night package to Guangzhou includes round trip airfare from Los Angeles to Guangzhou, China, airport transfers, accommodations for seven nights in a five-star, downtown hotel, daily breakfast and a dinner cruise, city bus pass, week-long event ticket, taxes and Anthony Travel Tour Guide.

The Guangzhou package is being offered by Anthony Travel. Cost of the trip is $2,525 (single) and $2,375 (twin).

The seven-night Guangzhou/Hong Kong package includes round trip airfare from Los Angeles to Guangzhou, airport transfers, daily breakfast, dinner cruise in Guangzhou, city bus pass, four-day event ticket, taxes and Anthony Travel Tour Guide. Cost of the trip is $2,910 (single) and $2,625 (twin).

A Visa is required for travel in China. All prices are per person, tax inclusive. Additional fees will apply.

"It is exciting to have a tour package again this year for supporters of the USA World Teams," said Mitch Hull, National Teams Director for USA Wrestling. "We had a great time with the tour last year at the World Championships in Budapest and we should have just as great an experience this year in Guangzhou."

Package sales are limited and must be completed by June 1.

The Greco-Roman competition is set for Sept. 25-27 in Guangzhou, men's freestyle is scheduled for Sept. 27-29, and women's freestyle will be contested Sept. 29-Oct. 1.
