Nick Simmons (Williamston, Mich./Michigan State University) has been named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week for the week of Feb 28 - March 6

Simmons, who placed fourth at the NCAAs last year and seventh in 2003, repeated as Big Ten champion. His brother, Michigan State junior Andy Simmons, won the Big Ten title at 141.

Nick Simmons will carry a 31-0 record into the NCAA tournament March 16-18 in Oklahoma City. He is expected to be the No. 1 seed.
