The race for the Dominator Belts is underway!!!

USA Wrestling has released  standings of the ASICS Ultimate Challenge Series of folkstyle wrestling, a series of nationally respected youth wrestling competitions.

After the first three events, there are leaders within each of the three age-groups that are included in the ASICS Ultimate Challenge Series.

The standings are based upon results of the California World Challenge, the Winter Classic and the Dixie ASICS Nationals.

In the 9-10 year old division, Michael Johnson of Illinois is the early leader with 3,200 points, after winning titles at the Winter Classic and the ASICS Dixie Nationals. Travis Hasselbeck of Louisiana is second with 2,800 points, with Brandon James of Indiana in third with 2,600 points.

In the 11-12 year old division, Hunter Weber of Wisconsin takes the lead in the standings with 4,000 points. He won a gold medal at the California World Challenge, then silver medals at both the Winter Classic and the ASICS Dixie Nationals.  Jason Luster of Georgia was in second with 3,200 points and Andrew Schulte of California was third with 2,800 points.

In the 13-15 year old division, Gregory Amos of Missouri is in the top position with 3,200 points, after winning championships at the Winter Classic and the ASICS Dixie Nationals. There is a tie for second place between Eli Ashby of South Carolina and Brett Jaeckel of Indiana with 2,800 points.

Updated standings will be posted shortly with the results from the next three Ultimate Challenge Series events compiled.
