The National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum held the first ever All-Star Classic Trivia Challenge.  Jay Hammond created the exceptionally tough test for the Hall of Fame.  Some 325 entries were received and not one person managed to get all the questions correct.  

The winner of the Trivia Challenge is Dennis Thompson of Edmond, Okla.  Thompson scored the highest with 23 correct answers out of 30 possible.  

Thompson will receive a copy of the 2005 NWCA All Star Classic program (autographed by participating wrestlers and coaches), a NWHOF lapel pin and hat, and a copy of the much-anticipated book The History of Collegiate Wrestling signed by the book's author, Jay Hammond.

Special recognition goes out to the following high scorers, who will each receive a National Wrestling Hall of Fame t-shirt:

Eric Peters of Ankeny, Iowa, scored 18
Yoni Ellman of New York, N.Y., scored 18
Nathan Marks of Flower Mound, Texas, scored 17
David Hittinger of Phoenix, MD, scored 17
James Torvik of Clive, Iowa, scored 17
John Zahoroiko of Shamong, NJ, scored 17
Mary Moore of Cambridge, Mass., scored 17

The National Wrestling Hall of Fame would like to thank all the fans that participated.
