World team members Durlacher, Warren, Lester, Byers in field at New York AC Holiday Championships

Four members of the 2005 U.S. World Greco-Roman team have entered the field at the New York AC Holiday Championships in New York City.
Competition in men's freestyle and men's Greco-Roman begin on Saturday, Nov. 18 at the world famous New York Athletic Club in Manhattan.
The 2005 World Team members competing in the Greco-Roman division are Lindsey Durlacher (Colorado Springs, Colo./New York AC) at 55 kg/121 lbs., Joe Warren (Colorado Springs, Colo./New York AC) at 60 kg/132 lbs., Harry Lester (Akron, Ohio, Gator WC/USOEC) at 66 kg/145.5 lbs. and Dremiel Byers (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army) at 120 kg/264.5 lbs.
Byers was a 2002 World Champion, and was a winner of the New York AC Holiday Championships last year. Durlacher and Warren also won this tournament a year ago, while Lester placed second.
Others in the Greco-Roman field included 2004 U.S. Olympian Oscar Wood (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army) at 66 kg/145.5 lbs. and two-time U.S. World Team member Keith Sieracki (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army) at 84 kg/185 lbs.
The freestyle field featured a number of top U.S. wrestlers, as well as some talented international competitors.
Returning champions from last year who are in the field were Zach Roberson (Ames, Iowa/Sunkist Kids) at 60 kg/132 lbs. and Tommy Rowlands (Columbus, Ohio/Sunkist Kids) at 120 kg/264.5 lbs. Rowlands won the New York AC Holiday Championships last year at 96 kg.
Among the other competitors in the field are 2005 Junior World champion Marat Basiev of Russia and 1998 Junior World champion Donny Pritzlaff (Northport, N.Y./New York AC) at 74 kg/163 lbs.
Competition will be held through the quarterfinals in both divisions, along with some wrestlebacks.
Women wrestlers weigh in on Saturday, and will compete on Sunday, Nov. 20. All three styles will be completed on Sunday.
