"I just embarrassed myself. I come here for the first time and didn't get it done. I made mistakes. When you make mistakes, you lose. I'm embarrassed with myself. I feel ashamed. I wanted it worse than anything. It feels like the world came crashing down on me. You make a mistake in  a big match and you lose. The second match I lost was pathetic."

"I feel great. This is the biggest accomplishment I have had in wrestling. I was glad I got back into the tournament. I knew he was tough. I thought the Hungarian could make the finals. I got a second chance, another tournament. It wasn't easy though. This feels great."

"The rules are how things worked out for me, with three cautions and you are out. I think he didn't know what was going on. He seemed happy to be on top in the third period. When he didn't get the turn right away, he kind of stayed there. It was a slip on his part. I'll take it."

"This year, the rules have been crazy. A different tournament, different rules. They will stay with these rules for awhile. Before, I wrestled more on my feet, where I was comfortable. I didn't have as much par terre experience. But this year, I closed the gap."

"I feel great winning a World medal. It is one of my goals. I had a setback last year not making the Olympic team. It has been great here. I'm glad we got a medal. In 2003, when I was on the World team, we didn't get a medal. We got one this year. Hopefully, in the future, we get more."

"Justin wrestled so smart. He was very patient every match. He had a great defense. What won it for him was his defense in par terre. Kazakhstan has a great reverse lift. He stopped it three times. He also stopped Hungary two times. I am so happy for him. He deserves it. He worked hard all year, he never complains, he does what he is told. He has a great attitude and is a great leader. Nothing rattles him. He stayed calm. Justin avenged a big loss to Kazakhstan just two months ago. He pushed him on his feet, got him tired and had great defense."

"The medal makes a big difference. It is big between one and zero. It is not our goal. We want to be better. But considering how we started, and with the new rules we are all learning, I'll take one medal. We can leave here with our head high because of what Justin did. Our delegation can take pride in this achievement. We can leave with a shiny bronze medal. It is something to build upon. And this is a great confidence builder for Justin."

With that fighting spirit, he will win some medals. He gave his all every match. He lost to the silver medalist, very close. He had a couple of mistakes.
