The Chinese Wrestling Federation has asked World Sports Alliance, the "Official International Exchange Coordinator of USA Wrestling" to send a US wrestling team to China, to participate in the Chinese Freestyle Cadet National Championships September 24-26, 2005. This competition will be held in the city of Yuncheng in the Shanxi Province. World Sports Alliance is extending this invitation to any US high school or club coach who can pull together a group of 5-10 wrestlers, who will be able to miss a week of school in September. This competition is for wrestlers born in 1989 or 1990. Keep in mind that this is a tough competition and not suited for beginner wrestlers. This is not a subsidized tour and athletes will be responsible for paying their own tour cost. World Sports Alliance will provide the tour cost after working out the schedule and determining the departure airport with an interested coach. An additional dual meet and training sessions can be arranged as well as a few days of sightseeing in Beijing. If you are coach or athlete interested in representing the United States at the Chinese Cadet National Championships, call World Sports Alliance at 719-265-6005.
