The Cybermat will offer six live college wrestling events to its premium service members during the one-month period from January 21-February 18. TheCyberMat is on the cutting-edge of the internet today, providing internet broadcasts and video archives of championship wrestling as a premium service. The NWCA National Duals finals were broadcast on Januar y 21st live and members were impressed by the quality of the picture and sound. TheCyberMat members were able to witness the exciting victory by Minnesota over Oklahoma State, which determined the No. 1 team ranking in the nation. The second live cybercast occurred on January 26th, when Oklahoma State met Iowa State in a dual meet in Ames, Iowa. Oklahoma State won this major Big 12 showdown on Iowa State's home mats. The next live cybercast is set for Monday, January 29th at 7:30 p.m. at the NWCA All-Star Classic in Lancaster, Pa. This annual extravaganza features college wrestling stars competing in challenge matches. Five past NCAA Div. I individual champions will participate: Eric Juergens of Iowa at 133 pounds, Doug Schwab of Iowa at 141 pounds, Don Pritzlaff of Wisconsin at 165 pounds, Cael Sanderson of Iowa State at 184 pounds and Brad Vering of Nebraska at 197 pounds. Seven No. 1 ranked wrestlers will participate: Juergens, Schwab, Sanderson, Vering, Joe Heskett of Iowa State at 165 pounds, Josh Koscheck of Edinboro at 174 pounds and Tommy Rowlands of Ohio State at heavyweight. Early February will feature three major Div. I college dual meets. On Feb. 2nd, Oklahoma will visit Iowa State in a major Big 12 battle. On February 4th, Northwestern travels to Ohio State for a Big Ten showdown. On February 18th, closing out this busy month of college cybercasts is a Big Ten showdown between No. 1 Minnesota at No. 3 Iowa, with the outcome certain to help determine the national dual meet rankings. This dual meet helps set the seeding and team momentum going into the conference championship and the national championships.
