There will be a memorial service for Sarah Tolin at the University of Oklahoma on Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at 7 PM. Tolin, 23, was a nationally-respected women's wrestler from an active USA Wrestling family. She challenged the system and was the first girl to compete in Wyoming high school wrestling. It will be at the Oklahoma Memorial Union at 900 Asp, Norman, OK on the 2nd floor in the Beaird Lounge. The family will be represented by her parents, Don and Vickie Tolin of Casper, WY and her brother, Joshua Tolin, a senior at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. A photo and music tribute produced by her siblings will be presented, in addition to a short service lead by Rabbi Steve Kirschner of OU Hillel.
