Note: To nominate a wrestler for TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week, send the athlete's name, accomplishments for the week and career accomplishments to John Fuller at jfuller@usawrestling.org    Les Sigman (Sturgis, S.D./Nebraska-Omaha) has been named TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week for the week of March 8-14.    Each week, TheMat.com will select an Athlete of the Week, based upon performance within wrestling for that week. The selection committee will consider any level of wrestling, from youth programs through the Senior level.    Sigman won his third straight NCAA Division II national title at heavyweight, leading Nebraska-Omaha to its second consecutive team title.    It also was the third consecutive year that Sigman rolled through the NCAA Division II Championships without surrendering an offensive point.    He pinned his first two opponents, Heath Soderstrom of Adams State and Matt Meyer of Wisconsin-Parkside. In the semifinals, Sigman defeated Tervel Dlagnev of Nebraska-Kearney, 13-5. In the finals, he dominated Chris Tuscherer of Minnesota State-Moorhead, 18-4.    Sigman finished the season with a remarkable 51-3 record. For his career, he posted a 148-11 overall record.
