Dear Friends of Wrestling, The Montclair State Wrestling team finished the season strong at the Metropolitian Conference with eight wrestlers finishing in the top three, four finalists, and two wrestlers qualifying for the National Tournament. Derrick Goduto earned All-American Honors at the NCAA Championships and the coaching staff was honored with Coach of the Year award at the METs. Only one senior graduates as we look forward to building on this year's success. Parents, alumni, fans and wrestling supporters around the country have rallied behind MSU wrestling to help get the program re-instated. We are getting closer to this goal but need to continue our efforts on all fronts. Here is the official pledge document created by the University. Financial contributions should be sent directly to the University and made payable to the MSU Foundation-Wrestling. Please feel free to distribute this document to anyone that might be in a position to support our cause. While this battle is occurring at Montclair State right now, it can easily happen at any school across the country. MSU ranks 2nd ALL TIME in the number of All Americans and National Champions throughout all of Division 3. Our success will help any future attempts to cut wrestling here and elsewhere to fail. Thank you again for everyone's support. We would not have come this far without you. A special thank to our friends at www.thewrestlingmall.com who have helped rally fans across the country. Sincerely, Joe Sabol Head Wrestling Coach Montclair State University (973)-777-4035
