Iowa lightweight stars Eric Juergens (133) and Doug Schwab (141) won their bouts. Iowa State captured the final five actual matches, although Iowa had non-starters Matt Anderson and Tyler Nixt in the lineup. Cael Sanderson's 25-9 technical fall over Jessman Smith showed his continued dominance.
