The following USA Wrestling Sanctioned Clubs have met the standards to be honored as "Gold Medal Clubs" for the 2003-2004 Season. All USA Wrestling Clubs receive an application with the requirements for this special program in their Club Packet when they are sanctioned each year. This year, 15 clubs qualified for Gold Medal status, representing 12 different state associations. Clubs are required to submit an application marking the improvement in membership numbers, as well as participation in events and State programs. Also required is participation by club members in USA Wrestling's Coaches Education Program and the U.S. Wrestling Officials Association. Clubs must demonstrate that they have met state association deadlines, and are providing opportunities to at least three age-group levels. It is indeed an honor to be one of the 15 outstanding clubs, recognized as a Gold Medal Club, and selected from the 2,900 USA Wrestling Sanctioned Clubs all across the nation.
