In its first year, The Dixie Nationals has generated tremendous excitement in the youth wrestling community across the nation. Already, many of America's most talented young competitors are joining wrestlers from over 35 other states to battle on the mats in the deep-south on Monday December 20th in another Ultimate Challenge event. Coaches and parents must remember that the entry deadline for the Dixie Nationals is Wednesday, December 1st. www.dixienationalswrestling.com The Dixie Nationals is also paired with its sister event, the Liberty Nationals, which is scheduled for Saturday, February 26th, 2005 in Kansas City, Mo. The Dixie National tournament awards are stunning wrestling themed trophies, just like the awards that have attracted so many wrestlers to the Liberty Nationals for the past several years. Winners of both events will win the American Crown Award, another fantastic trophy featuring Atlas shouldering the weight of the world. The pairing of the two Bill Gossett-organized events, as well as their participation in USA Wrestling's Ultimate Challenge Series, is another reason why there is such strong national participation in these growing events. Wrestlers from the Kansas City, Mo. region may want to check into the unbelievably low cost charter bus that will be traveling to Atlanta for the Dixie Nationals. More information is available at www.dixienationalswrestling.com. Wrestlers that don't belong to a well-traveled club or have coaches or parents that can attend the event will find the low price an excellent way to get in great wrestling competition on Monday, December 20th. The Dixie Nationals in its first year can already boast a heavy commitment of strong nationally-respected wrestlers that will help assure the success of this event. Coaches, parents and wrestlers are encouraged to register by December 1st and attend a strong and exciting national folkstyle tournament.
