Former Santa Ana College wrestler killed in car accident

GARDEN GROVE, Calif. - A Garden Grove man died early Sunday after he was ejected from a car on the eastbound Garden Grove (22) Freeway. Juan Pacho, 22, died when the car rolled twice and landed on top of him. California Highway Patrol officials did not know if Pacho was the driver or a passenger. The accident occurred just after 3 a.m., west of Euclid Street in Garden Grove. Five other passengers in the car were treated for minor injuries. Pacho was the only passenger not wearing a seat belt, officials said. Pacho competed at 133 lbs. in 2002 for Santa Ana College. Since then he has still be very active in the Santa Ana College wrestling program as a volunteer.
