Cory Ace and John Testa Named Old Dominion Assistant Coaches

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion wrestling head coach Steve Martin has announced the hiring of two additional assistant coaches-Cory Ace and John Testa. Along with assistant Lee Pritts and Coach Martin, each member of the ODU wrestling staff was an NCAA All-American. Cory Ace comes to Old Dominion from Edinboro University, where he served as a Graduate Assistant and Club Coach in 2004, in addition to serving as camp clinician at several camps. Ace was a four-time NCAA qualifier while wrestling at Edinboro, and was named an NCAA All-American in 2002. He has 111 career wins and was the Eastern Wrestling League Champion in 2003. Ace also made the Intermat All-Effort Team in 2002. John Testa, a 2003 graduate of Clarion University, will be responsible for assisting the upper weights. A heavyweight wrestler at Clarion, Testa ranks #3 on the all-time win list, compiling a 136-26 career record. He was also a three-time Eastern Wrestling League Champion (four-time qualifier) and four-time Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference champion. Testa was named an NCAA All-American his senior year.
