Photos from Friday's Events  Photos from Saturday's Events    Coleman Scott of Waynesburg, Pa. was named the winner of the National Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award during the Honors Weekend at the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in Stillwater, Okla.    The award is given annually to a top high school senior, for achievements on the mat, in the classroom and in the community. The award honors the memory of the late Dave Schultz, a World and Olympic wrestling champion who is a legend within the sport.    Scott was one of five outstanding high school athletes who were selected for regional Dave Schultz High School Excellence Awards. He was selected for the Northeast region of the United States.    Scott is a three time Pennsylvania state champion from Waynesburg Central High School, in Waynesburg, Pa. He enjoyed a high school wrestling career record of 156-12.  He was named the Outstanding Wrestler his senior year.     He was also named the Outstanding Wrestler at the Dapper Dan Classic and the Dream Team Classic.  He won the Powerade Championship three times, as well as the Beast of the East Championship and the Ironman Championship.      To top off his career, he won the Junior National Freestyle Championship and the Cadet National Greco Championship, placing third in the Cadet National Freestyle tournament.      He also excelled in soccer, being named All Section in Soccer twice.  Scott is a member of the National Honor Society and was named Lions Club Boy of the Month.  Three times he received special recognition at the Washington-Greene County Banquet.  Scott generously volunteers with the St. Paris Youth Group and coaches youth t-ball.  He is active in the Students Against Drunk Driving organization and served as a team leader for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.    Nancy Schultz, wife of Dave Schultz and a member of the Hall of Fame's Board of Governors, was on hand to present the awards to the high school wrestlers.
