Kids/Cadet Central Regional To Host USAW Bronze Level Clinic.     In their efforts to bring more programming to the USAW Central Region, the Indiana State Wrestling Association will host a Bronze Level Coaches Clinic in addition to a scheduled Copper Level Coaches Clinic at the 2004 Central Region Kids/Cadet Regional Championships, in Anderson, Indiana, June 4-6, 2004.     The Bronze and Copper Level clinics will provide for a unique opportunity for coaches at various levels to become USAW Certified at the level that best fits their development.  Both courses will provide quality instructions in various areas of coaching youth athletes in the sport.  Wrestling specific materials will be made available to all those taking the course and are a part of the registration fee.     "Educating coaches and keeping them up-to-date on coaching trends is a primarily focus of USA Wrestling," said Mark Scott, USA Wrestling Director of State Services.  "With the new requirement that all coaches that will be coaching at the Junior and Cadet Nationals needing to be a minimum Bronze certified, this clinic will provide an opportunity for many Central Regional coaches to obtain their certification prior to the Nationals," Scott continued.     Below are the specifics on the two NCEP Coaches Clinics to be held in Indiana.     Both clinics will be held at the Anderson Wigwam Complex, 1229 Lincoln Street, Anderson, IN  46013  on Friday, June 4th beginning at 5:00 pm.     The cost of the Copper Clinic is $30.   This includes a coach's book, test and the Copper Card fee required by USA Wrestling.    The cost of the Bronze Clinic is $90.   This includes a coach's book, test, a Bronze Coaching polo shirt and your USA Wrestling Coach's Membership card. If you have already purchased a 2004 USA Wrestling Coach's membership card, your clinic fee will be reduced to $60.    Copper Certification, along with your USA Coaches Membership card, will allow you to coach at all USA Wrestling Kids Regional and National events. A Bronze card is required for all Cadet and Junior National events. Both are one time clinics. You can attend a Bronze clinic without having taken a Copper clinic. Coaches will be tested on site.
